Interesting post on building specialized communities on top of Twitter. StockTwits is one example. I saw tweets from @infoarbitrage that looked like “$C” which my screenreader vocalized as “Canadian dollar.” These invariably led to discussions of Citigroup, not the Looney. Now I know that “$C” is a cue for StockTwits.
